Every other Sverdlovsk tourist has embarked upon a career here. Devil’s Hillfort (people call it tenderly Devils or Little Devils) seems to be the most popular and an “ancient” natural outgoing track route in the Sverdlovsk region. It is very seldom for a tourist and a regional specialist not to visit this place, a history of mass walking trips there dates from the end of XIX century. The rocks are really worth of notice: an entire ridge of granite slabs up to 25 m high with intricately indented tops placed in layers. The nature has created it 300 million years ago with the help of weathering and turning by snow and rain. There are other small rocks around the major rock mass – “Little Devils”. One can find Little Devils also on the way to the rocks – it is possible to give a look there as well.

Even children can cope with this trip. Climbers practice very often there on the northern side. The mountainside is more sloping from southward. There are wooden stairs arranged in the forefront – one can admire a magnificent view of the forest neighborhood revealed with enough courage. By the way, the walking tour to Devils is a wonderful route for bikers as well.
