Another local place of interest is New Athos cave, which is situated in Iveron Mountain. Its depth conceals a lot of secrets. The peak of Iveron Mountain is topped with Anakopia fortress.

Blue Lake is another place of interest in Abkhazia which is situated at the bottom of Tshin’s mountain, in the cleft. The lake is cold and very transparent which uses ground water as a sourse. Ritsa Lake: it is worth renting a boat and take tour on the lake. The lake is situated in a deep gorge, its length is 2.5 km. Mountains, the peaks of which are always snow-capped, surround the lake.
